Matthew 3:11 talks about John baptizing with water for repentance, but Jesus is the one who baptizes with fire and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, the One who came to save, sent the Holy Spirit to live inside of all who are made clean by His death, burial, and ressurrection. Romans 10:9 says if we confess with our mouthes that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God rose Jesus from the grave, then we would be saved. And He didn’t stop there with salvation. He continued after He left earth. He gifted us with His very Spirit to live inside of us, and it burns away everything that separates us from Him. Sin, death, disease.
