I want you to imagine Jesus, the Good Shepherd, calling you into His flock. Imagine His rod and staff in hand, waving at you to know where to go, what place you fit in, and where you will stay hidden and protected. He uses His rod to count you and He uses His staff to keep you safe. As you come into His flock, you see all of the other sheep that heard His voice and obeyed. And as you look around, all of the sudden you see The Good Shepherd turn into The High King of Zion, and His rod and staff that has counted you and kept you has now become a scroll of citizenship… and your name is on it! Yahweh, The King, greets you at the gate of Zion and tells you, “you were born here, come in! I have called you here and have awaited your arrival!”. And all of the sheep that were once around you are now revealed as His Beloved Bride, united together, forever! Todays episode is about the Good Shepherd from Psalm 23 at the gate of Zion, in Psalm 87! May you be encouraged, oh lamb and citizen! You were born here!!!

Matthew 3:11 talks about John baptizing with water for repentance, but Jesus is the one who baptizes with fire and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, the One who came to save, sent the Holy Spirit to live inside of all who are made clean by His death, burial, and ressurrection. Romans 10:9 says if we confess with our mouthes that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God rose Jesus from the grave, then we would be saved. And He didn’t stop there with salvation. He continued after He left earth. He gifted us with His very Spirit to live inside of us, and it burns away everything that separates us from Him. Sin, death, disease. May you enjoy this episode and be refined by the Refiner’s fire during your own time with Him.
